Kawasaki Teases the New 2008 Ninja ZX-10R
Choosing to tease rather than unveil, Kawasaki has released only two studio photos of their 2008 Ninja ZX-10R-- appropriately enough in that familiar lean, mean shade of Kawasaki green.
With few disclosed specs (like a 998cc displacement, 76 x 55mm bore & stroke, 12.8:1 compression ratio, and 43mm Keihin throttle bodies with oval sub-throttles and two injectors per cylinder), Kawasaki has attempted to heighten anticipation by publishing a press release that includes the following: "For the 2008 Ninja ZX-10R, Kawasaki engineers aimed for an ideal superbike with engine and chassis performance capable of satisfying professional racers, combined with top-notch streetbike qualities for mainstream riders..."
More info and images will be posted as they become available, but in the meantime click on these thumbnails for a closer look at the 2008 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R.

I think it’s already safe to say that this will be the most beautiful bike of 2008.
Sorry Edwin; Kawi has lready released the most beatiful bike of 2008. The Concours 1400.
Tom, I’m going to check out the Concours 1400.
This bike is hideous. I am a Kaw man to the end, but the new ZX-10R isn’t going to be big seller. Just my opinion (smile). The ‘04/’05 was the better designed bike.
I love the 04/05. The 06/07 was a big disapointment. Now, if the 08 is what it looks like - Kawi has hit the mark again. This design is georgeous without any need for graphic trickery. I’m glad to see the heavy and anti-performance undertail pipes go away. What were they thinking? I know - it was a mis-step to allow the design staff to dictate anything beyond the required needs in this superbike. Purists rejoice! Target aquired and locked.
Am in love with kawasaki but i always had my eyes for the KTM rc8 concept and is coming out by the end of this year or 2008. If is look and power you want KTM
RC8 venom is the one,any way just check it out. still i will have the passion & respect for kawasaki because of there experience.but men it will look cool going down the street on a rc8 venom.
I have more confidence that kawasaki ZX-10r will have more handle there for
it is more safe and fast to drive, any way am thinking of byeing one of this two bikes and for me its a tuff job. kawasaki real competition is KTM RC8 venom.
