We've taken a look at Honda's VFR Interceptor ABS, and now it's time to consider the only other 800cc sport touring bike on the market: the BMW F 800 ST.
Like the Honda, the BMW has optional anti-lock brakes, a single-sided swingarm, and removable saddlebags, but the two have considerably different personalities on the road.

Call it nuance, but the BMW just looks a more sophiticated. The Honda’s edges are very harsh.I like that fact that they’ve gone with belt drive.

I think the ST’s got a bit of an “underbite”… styling’s totally subjective, but personally I prefer the looks of the non-ST version.

“BMW motorcycles have a reputation for being pricey”? Thats because they are pricey. And yes, wearing a $500 canvas glow in the dark jacket is very peculiar. But what do i know…?
