Be Like Steve: Triumph to Sell Commemorative McQueen T-Shirts
Sometimes, when I pine for a taste of motorcycle history, I go for a cheap fix (like the 1:24 scale model of a 1926 Brough Superior SS100 that sits on my desk.)
Triumph's got a (hopefully) cheap fix of their own that will commemorate the 78th birthday of the king of cool, Steve McQueen. The logo on the front of their single jersey 100% cotton t-shirt looks just like the one McQueen wore back in the day, and "Steve McQueen Special Edition" is printed on the back, while the sleeve wears a graphic of McQueen's signature. The "as worn by" style gives it a lived-in look, and the shirt will be available on March 24, the anniversary of McQueen's birthday.
The t-shirt will be the first in a series of products officially licensed by Steve McQueen's estate; for more details, go to triumphmotorcycles.com.

If the shirt only said “triumph”, i’d wear it, just as i’ll wear alost any other moto shirt, even a harley or bmw. But celebs on wheels do nothing to rock my boat, except maybe the fonz…
Greetings! As a kid, I used to walk everywhere. I would make a point to walk past the “House of Triumph” every chance I got. I remember those “cool” bikes and I’d dream of riding/owning one some day. Those T shirts were “tight” too. The people at Triumph are still making “tight” bikes.
Now, they’ve got the T shirts to back them up! You know we all loved Steve McQueen and what he stood for. Ah memories, sweet memories!
Ride Safe/Stay Blessed!

Gordon thinks ‘The Fonz’ is cooler than Steve McQueen? Very troubling…
