Orange County Choppers Bags Monster Deal with DieHard, Craftsman
Whether you love 'em or hate 'em, it's hard to deny the mainstream marketing power of the Teutuls, that outwardly dysfunctional father/son bike building team featured on TLC's American Chopper. And while they've just unveiled two new bikes (including a bagger that'll run 50 large), the big news is their partnership with DieHard/Craftsman.
To add a touch of friendly competition to the proceedings, Papa Teutul's whipped up a DieHard bike, while Teutul Jr. was in charge of a Craftsman chopper. The DieHard bike was unveiled at the Rosemont, IL International Motorcycle Show, and will soon be visible online and in an upcoming episode of the TV show.
The tangled marketing web goes beyond the custom bikes, and involves numerous cross-promotional caveats including DieHard shirts worn by OCC mechanics, DieHard signage featured at the OCC shop, and the sale of DieHard batteries at the Teutuls' new retail store in Newburgh, NY.

I say good for them. Strike while the iron is hot, or in maybe in this case, before it cools anymore.
Regardless of how they come across on TV these are not stupid business people. I think it’s a good move for them.
Not a chopper fan…never have been, never will be – however if you can’t stand back and admire the art work talent & craftsmanship, then you’re eyes aren’t open. Crafstman and Diehard ae about as big as it get’s.
Good for them!
Thems all crazy. Me and my old lady laffs out loud watchen them on the tv.
I think its great.
These guys suck on sooooooooo many levels I shouldn’t waste time on them.
if you don’t like occ’s bikes and talent you’d have to be a complete baboon.
