KTM Officially Enters the Four-Wheeled World
KTM, the Austrian manufacturer famous for building Dakar-ready bikes, is diversifying with their first ever four-wheeled offering.
The KTM X-Bow just made its official debut at the Geneva Auto Show, and its minimalist orange and black design looks breezy enough to inspire the lust of most motorcyclists with a spare $65,000 to spend on a weekend plaything. According to Autoblog, its Audi-sourced 220 hp four-banger has only 1,500 lbs to push around, and the go kart-like craft has already been pre-ordered by 2,000 enthusiasts.
With Honda entering the jet business and Toyota considering a similar move, KTM's experiment seems tame by comparison... nonetheless, it's somehow reassuring that KTM is also innovating the two-wheeled realm with motorcycles like their cool, angular 1190 RC8 superbike.

X-Bow looks like a blast to drive…. shame it costs so much. Always liked the idea of recreational vehicles like that.
As for the KTM superbike, I like the look of it, but that seat looks like its gonna be for 5 minute trips to the grocery store for anyone other than a pro rider…. Unless, of course, you don’t mind walking like a cowboy after a longer trip.
Hopefully you’ll have a chance to go a few laps on it Basem.
Sorta looks like the Batmobile…
The Ariel Atom is another one of theses carts to check out. I think they’re power by Honda
I agree it does sort of look like a batmobile. But its seems to be a bit of the munsters hearse and jeds hillbilly junker.
