It's Official: Harley Museum Will Open July 12, 2008
According to a statement released today, the doors of Harley-Davidson's museum will finally open to the public on Saturday, July 12th at 10:00 a.m. The 130,000 square space near downtown Milwaukee will feature historic photographs, videos, artifacts, and of course hundreds of bikes from the company's vast archives.
Harley plans to celebrate the grand opening with a ceremony that will lead into weekend-long celebrations which include live music performances, bike-building, and live tattooing. Grand opening weekend tickets will available on Tuesday, May 20th at www.h-dmuseum.com/tickets. Incidentally, access inside the museum for the August 28-31 105th Anniversary Celebration is no longer available, since those tickets became spoken for nearly six months ago.

I can’t believe the H-D haters haven’t jumped in and said “why didn’t they just put the sign on the factory since all they build is antiques”.
I don’t really have any reason to go to Milwaukee but if I ever visited I would definitely stop by the museum.
Good one, Scottie
Couldn’t agree more Scottie!
The dreaded “bashers” lurking in the dark waiting for something to be said about Harley so they can bash.
While the bashers are lurking I am out riding my Harley, blue skies, 80 degrees, and that sweet Harley sound. It don’t get no better than that boys!!LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Think and say what you will of H-D…I’m certainly not a fan - but - there’s a 100 hundred years of history, racing, marketing, military service and nostalgia. I’d certainly pay to go in!
