Quick Review: 2008 Ducati 848
If you've read my full review of the Ducati 1098S, you might have an idea of what makes Italian sportbikes different from Japanese counterparts like the Honda CBR1000RR; call it personality, charm, or character, Italian bikes have a certain something that makes them stand out in a crowd of crotch rockets.
And so it goes with Ducati's downsized 848; it's got the same bodywork as the 1098, but a bit less grunt (and less weight, to boot.) Check out my Ducati 848 Quick Review for riding impressions, and peruse the Ducati 848 Photo Gallery for pictures of this sexy middleweight.

Thaks Basem,
Great review…nice and honest. Just makes me all the surer I still want a 1098….why give up the Ohlins and the 30HP if I’m gonna be just as uncomfortable?
Thanks, Pete… of course the Öhlins come on the pricier 1098S, personally I’d be fairly content with a plain ole 1098. I think…
:-P
