The $120,000 Question
I've had the opportunity to test plenty of crazy machines in my time (like the $1.4 million Lamborghini Reventón), but last week I had a particularly nerve wracking assignment: MV Agusta, that definitively boutique Italian superbike builder, offered up the keys to the crown jewel of their lineup, the F4CC.
The F4CC started off as a one-off personal project for company boss Claudio Castiglioni, who craved a superbike sporting the best of every possible component. Featuring a tweaked and bored out 1,078cc engine, it boasts a top speed of 195 mph, 90% handmade components, and a dizzying pricetag of $120,000.
You'll get the full story next week when I post a photo gallery and review, but in the meantime let me tell you that the fear of hurting a six figure bike (and yourself) dissolves quickly once the howl the 200 horsepower engine sings to you. That look of concern on my face? It didn't last long.

Honda Cub to a F4CC - nobody can accuse you of not covering the entire spectrum.
That motorcycle takes “cool” to a whole new level….
As long as it has two… or three… or sometimes even four wheels (you’ll see what I mean soon), we love it.
