Harley's unveiled yet another marketing campaign, and this time it centers around their interactive customizer feature (harley-davidson.com/customizer.) The online tool enables would-be buyers to "build" virtual bikes using dozens of variables, and based on my screwball Sportster Nightster creation (seen here with pimptastic rims, a smoked windscreen, luggage, and a $2,000 "Street Tartan" paintjob... click to enlarge), there really is no limit to the questionable combinations you can come up with.
Users who create a profile and log into their personal "garage" will be entered into the sweepstakes once their custom bike is saved... and be careful, the bike you build online could end up in your garage when Harley announces a winner on November 6th.

you are very thorough in your articles and always refreshing to read. one suggestion. can you break away from the harleys once in a while and write about trikes. i have a suzuki boulevard c50 trike. gorgeous and wouldn’t mind some tips, writeups, etc about trikes or boulevards, suzukis, yahamas, and other makes besides harleys. just a suggestion. thanks alot.
Hello Rosemarie,
Thanks for your comment. I know there’s lots of demand for Harley-related stories, but I also do my best to also cover a wide variety of other manufacturers and bike types.
Funny you should mention trikes– I rode through north Georgia today and saw lots of trikes on the road, so I know the demand is out there! Stay tuned, and I’ll be tapping into that topic more.
Ride safe,
Basem
I handle the marketing dept. at a Harley dealership and I really enjoy your articles especially the reviews of the campaigns–keep up the good work!
I like the “screw it” add. And soon as my extended warranty runs out, that will be the words coming out of my mouth as i dump my harley into a swamp…
