Review: 2008 BRP Can-Am Spyder

Is it a motorcycle? A trike? A three-wheeled hybrid oddity? If anything, the BRP Can-Am Spyder is a polarizing ride, a mechanical curiosity that attracts either affection or smug disapproval from hardcore motorcyclists.

I spent some time riding the controversial three-wheeler in the mountains overlooking the San Gabriel Valley, and found myself hard-pressed to pigeonhole it into any particular category.
