Five scary Halloween motorcycles Inspired by Aaron Gold's Five scariest cars I've ever driven post (and not above shamelessly ripping off his idea), I've decided to document six of the scariest motorcycles I've ever ridden. And might I remind you: the consequences of intimidating bikes can be quite a bit more harrowing than those of airbag, seatbelt, and crumple zone-equipped cages cars.

So while you're enjoying what's hopefully a spooky, fun (and candy) filled Halloween, take a look at my list of the six scariest motorcycles I feel lucky to have ridden-- and survived. And while you're at it, feel free to share any freakishly terrifying rides you've ever had the "pleasure" of experiencing.

Add the Hi and the H2 to that list..truly terrifying. Wayyyyy too much HP with a very loose hinge in the middle. That said – 2 motorcycles responsible for many stupid grins!

Any one watch Portimao? What a gorgeous track!
Just in case anyone wondered if there’s any doubt who the best SBK ride in the world is….What a ride! Talk about going out on top. He will be missed.
The boys from BSB should liven things up next year…Haslam is good (genetics?)…and Rea is no slouch either.
OMG – no racing until March! AMA should be boring as hell again. Only difference is Mladin won’t have Spies boot firmly planted up his ass where it’s been for the last 3 years.

Pete,

I’ve never ridden those Kawis, but I’ve heard that they’re beasts! Didn’t catch the race– must have been great to end his career on that note.

Did you catch F1? An absolutely UNBELIEVABLE last few laps; breathtaking.
