Yesterday, I visited Honda's R&D department with a group a journalists and received a brief presentation on a bike that's a huge departure for the company. We ogled it, snapped pictures of it, sat on it, checked out some of the viral ad campaign that's coming soon (pretty edgy stuff for Honda!), and took home a CD ROM with specs on the bike.
So since I can't even publish an image of the bike's logo, here's my name tag from yesterday's preview. Sorry folks, but that's all I've got until January 16th...

It’s like when my new boss called me into his office to tell me in confidence that my then boss was out and I was in, and I had to keep it to myself for three weeks. Of course, that was a huge career situation, and this is just a bike
So is there water in the block? belt or chain drive? Something bigger than 1300 cc? Any better than a Night Train, or Raider?
Okay, I’ll just have to wait to see the unveiling. I presume here in NYC on the 16th.

I won’t be at the NYC show, but will be posting photos the morning that the bike is unveiled there… I, like you, am very curious to see what they come up with for a 2010 Gold Wing.
