2008 Suzuki B-King Review

Friday December 26, 2008
2008 Suzuki B-King Review Suzuki had big plans for their brawny B-King when it joined their 2008 lineup, but the limited edition naked bike hasn't been selling like hot cakes-- in fact, Suzuki isn't building '09 B-Kings, and I'm guessing a little wheeling and dealing might get you an '08 model for under its starting MSRP of $12,899.

The hyperstyled, hyperfast naked bike sure looks unique, but how does it ride? I've got the skinny in my 2008 Suzuki B-King Review, so check it out and comment on whether or not this Hayabusa-powered motorcycle makes you want to plunk down a deposit.

Bought the King 12/26 – rode it home 39 miles in the dark, in the rain, mid 30’s, brand new slick as ice tires… scared the crap out of me. Outrageous!!! I love it!

Perhaps the ugliest motorcycle ever made. Definitely suits the ‘mines bigger than yours’ type.

Sounds like you definately have a smaller one… is your motorcyle smaller too!?!?

You sound like “Queer eye” tv show…

(Lispy)”Ohhwww, perhaps the ugglliest motorcycle ever…”

I think you meant to say faster instead of bigger. Freudian slip perhaps?

160 hp on two wheels should appeal to any real man. Do you ask you – wife/husband – Do I look fat and ugly in these jeans?

Don’t let door hit you in the p*ssy on the way out.

I think this bike is in the same genre as the Victory Vision. It’s a love-hate thing. I thought the rear on this bike was ok, but the front sucked out loud. On the Vision, it all failed for me. The V-Max is kind of an unusual styling and maybe this was meant to compete with it?
I’ve just gone from a big ol’ Roadstar to an FZ1, so this whole concept of naked street bike is a learning curve for me now. I just wich it would clear up a bit so I could test it out properly.

I have 7 bikes of all types. The only thing that could be done to the bike to make it better would be. The seat hard and you can get sore if you have to stop alot. and the name makes you think of burger king. I hit 85 MPH in 1st. no one has ever out ran me. its not a bike its a rocket. But if you are thinking of getting one better call you insurance first. It may cost you more than the bike.

The B-king IS still being built, just not being sold in the USA marketplace. There are waiting lists for them in Europe, selling like wildfire in the UK and Australia as well as Canada. As usual and as with most everything else, it’ll take the US market a while to get it’s head out of it’s rear end and evolve. If you don’t like the B-king you are a seizuring moron.
