Feeling a little vulnerable? Have we got a bike for you!
This bulletproof Boss Hoss (seen on news.motorbiker.org) is the brainchild of stuntman/builder Eddie Paul, and it makes the standard issue, V8-powered Boss Hoss look like a rusty Schwinn. It's got rotating replica Gatling guns, twin five-gallon jerrycans delivering fuel to the thirsty V8, and a Lexan windshield that can stop .44 Magnum bullets. The body panels are designed for maximum artillery deflection, and Paul boasts that "The guns are accurate [looking] enough that I got some questions from the BATF (Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms.)"
A Motorcycle.com profile also mentions that Paul's built a 1,700 horsepower 'Hoss with nitrous oxide and twin blowers, reflecting an... um, totalitarian dedication to all things excessive.
Are these overblown bikes merely one man's vision, or are a sign of the apocalyptic times? You be the judge.

Bad show! You read about the bike on my site, use the photo from my site (it was tagged) but don’t link it back to me. Not the way things work.
Hi Mike,
I usually credit the original source of the story, since there are often several other sites that link to it– like yourself and MCN in this case, for instance.
Regardless, my apologies; I’ve added a link to your story, but the credit for the photo remains Paul Garson, who owns the copyright.
Thanks for the note.

A great idea… as long as you can keep your potential assassin in front of you. The armor plates may deflect bullets right into the rider, but at least the engine will be safe!
Thanks. MCN took the photo from me as well….
Pffft…Yeah, it’ll go great in my garage, right between the Abrams and the Apache. Does it at least come with a little Stormin’ Norman Schwarzkopf action figure?
Such fuss over a photo. I am the actual photographer as well as builder and painter of the bike (when I was employed at Customs by Eddie Paul). The bike has since been repossessed from Eddie Paul by Boss Hoss and I have released the photo for anyone to use. -BMH
I also built the “1700 horsepower” Boss Hoss (that HP estimation is grossly exagerrated) mentioned in the write-up and have photos of that build as well. Photos available upon request. -BMH
Funny How evryone takes credit for stuff they did not do… what have you built as of late Brian? just wondering… you are jsut so talented and all.
Why does this bother you Eddie? Its apparent that for some reason you do not like me Eddie. But thats beside the point. I did shoot the photo here that others are taking credit for and I did put the motor together. And I did so for you. I have not taken credit for anything I did not do and in fact have note even thought about it until someone told me about this silly photo credit post. What have I built? Nothing. If taking credit for this photo bothers you this much Im sorry.
Well lets see….

humm. sounds like I should work for you, what a guy! and you did all this by yourself I assume? I kind of remember it a bit different, but what difference does it make I got more stuff to build that you can also take credit for as soon as it is done…
