Ural's Bargain Motorcycle Sidecar Revealed: Introducing the New $9,999 Ural T
Unconventional three wheelers like Can-Am's Spyder and Piaggio's MP3 have surfaced in the last couple years, but let's pause to peruse an entirely different beast: the latest motorcycle sidecar from Ural, the decidedly old school Russian manufacturer.
Ural's new T model features shaft-driven single wheel-drive and modern bits like front Brembo brakes and stainless steel exhaust pipes. But don't think they've guzzled every last drop of the "newer-is-better" Kool-Aid; the T is also graced with a deliciously retro, carbureted 749 cc boxer engine and linked rear and sidecar drum brakes.
See shots of this sub-$10,000 motorcycle sidecar in this 2009 Ural T Photo Gallery, and stay tuned for a review.
