Aprilia Continues Transformers 2 Marketing Blitz with Megan Fox, RS125, and Some Dude
The age old babe/bike paradigm-- see Marisa Miller's Harley V-Rod Muscle ad and MotoGP umbrella girls-- never fails to attract attention. Though Aprilia slathered movie promo graphics all over their RSV 4 race bike during last weekend's AMA Pro Superbike weekend at Road America, I'm guessing more people will be talking about Megan Fox straddling the diminutive RS125 in Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen... oh, and I'm told there's a guy by the name of Shia LaBeouf seated behind her.
I can't speak to the screentime allotted to Aprilia's 125cc repli-racer, but I'm guessing it will be sort of like Batman's Batpod-- brief, but glorious. As for the leather-clad Ms. Fox, I must say she's a compelling argument for protective gear... but wait a minute, where's her helmet?

Mmmm…. Megan Fox…
More pictures of Megan Fox please
Megan certainly looks hot in these pix, but in closeup ups she’s always wearing a ton of makeup. Looks like the poor kid had a rough time with acne. Don’t mean to be mean, just saying.
Most of the umbrella girls are hotter.
Megan Fox owns a Ducati 696 but can’t legally ride a motorcycle. I bet Aprilia wanted to put her on an RSV but she couldn’t handle the weight, size and power.
When they sell road-legal bikes to the US market, it makes no sense that they would market the RS125 as a road-legal bike when it is only available for track use.
They are working hard to put reap their investment http://jalopnik.com/5282979.
