50 Years in the Making: 2009 Honda Buyer's Guide
The American branch of Honda was established 50 years ago last week, selling just over 1,700 Dreams, Benlys, and Super Cubs (seen here) during their first year in business... and the rest, as they say, is history.
Since their humble origins in the U.S., Honda has steadily grown to become a major force in the North American market, and their bikes have consistently delivered user friendliness and reliability. Don't let atypical new models like the Fury or DN-01 fool you-- Hondas are, at their core, the comfort food of motorcycles.
We've assembled an A to Z of every Honda currently available-- from the Ruckus and Metropolitan scooters to the ST1300, CRF450R, and everything in between-- and thrown in three early release 2010 models for good measure. Find your favorite in our 2009 Honda Buyer's Guide.

They don’t do it all right, all the time, but they get right more often than anyone else.
From a fit, finish & quality aspect, everyone else takes a second place.
Long live Honda!
Now if they’d only build an 1198S, I might be able to afford one!
Honda has a nice lineup, but as a cruiser guy, I’m not too interested in their shaft drive cruisers. And not sure why they dropped the 1800.
The Wing is a wonderful bike, but I wish the ergonomics fit me better.
