I once asked, "Is cross-helmet chit-chat cool?", and now I'll elaborate with a more complex question: How about talking to your passenger, wirelessly listening to an iPod, and hearing direction prompts from your navigation system as you roll down the highway?

I spent a few weeks with the Midland BT2 bluetooth helmet intercom unit, testing most of its functionality by talking on the phone, listening to music, and chatting with a passenger-- the latter which, I must mention, adds an especially entertaining aspect to the riding experience*.
