2010 Laguna Seca MotoGP Winner
Thirty two laps after the grid launched their way down the Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca straightaway, the 2010 US Grand Prix culminated with Spaniard Jorge Lorenzo scoring his sixth victory aboard his Fiat Yamaha M1. As seen here, the diminutive (but apparently... uh, visibly pleased) Spaniard donned a space suit commemorating victory at the famed track. Lorenzo finished 3.5 seconds ahead of second place Ducati Marlboro's Casey Stoner, and third was claimed by Valentino Rossi, who staged an impressive pass late in the race.

Andrea Dovizioso and Nicky Hayden scored fourth and fifth respectively, with newbie Texan Ben Spies finishing in sixth just ahead of Tech 3 Yamaha teammate Colin Edwards.

Too bad about the little sxxx…he was the only one who had a chance to reel Lorenzo in. If Jorge keeps riding like that, he’s a done deal.
The really interesting thing about this season – is next season!
Stoner was just the 1st dominoe..the rest are lining up to fall. Rossi will be the next one.
Speaking of Rossi…word is he really touched off a storm in WSBK. A couple hours on the R1 – complete with a broken leg – and he’s got the team asking why he manages to run under the race winning pace while their 2 ’stars’, especially “King James”, keeps getting their asses kicked.
Not a bad question…
