The 2011 Harley-Davidson lineup adds three new motorcycles to the standard lineup: the touring-friendly Road Glide Ultra, the beginner-oriented Sportster SuperLow, and the previously announced XR1200X, which replaces the XR1200. The new lineup features 32 bikes, a drop from last year's record array of 38 motorcycles. Four of the new 2011 bikes comprise the CVO lineup, which you can see in this separate 2011 CVO Buyer's Guide.

Key improvements to 2011 Harley-Davidsons include:
- A PowerPak for select touring models, which bundles a Twin Cam 103 engine (essentially a stroked 96) with ABS and a security system for $1,995
- New seats for touring models (which were introduced mid-cycle in 2010 for select bikes), featuring a new seat pan, foam shape, and cover with narrower width for easier reach and a deeper bucket
- A Security Package, which combines ABS and a security system (available on Softail, VRSC, and Touring models without the PowerPak) for $1,195
- An ABS option for all Softail motorcycles except the Cross Bones
- New hand controls for Softail models, featuring a separate trip switch, a larger digital odometer with gear and rpm display, fewer wires, and a separate hazard button
- A return to dual exhaust pipes for FLHX and FLTRX models

The PowerPak seems like a good idea. However, the cycnic in me wonders why they make the 103 the new standard, especilly since Victory has made the 106 theirs.
HD may make the 103 their standard motor in the next yr or 2, HD moves slow in adding new stuff on their bikes to test them first, the cruise drive trans was only put on the Dyna’s the first yr (06) when it first came out, now it’s on all their big twins.
