Though it bears more than a passing resemblance to other Sportsters like the Forty-Eight, Nightster, Iron 883, and 1200 Low, the new 2011 SuperLow is an entirely different beast, with its larger 4.5 gallon fuel tank, new wheel and tire packages, and re-tuned suspension-- all of which were designed around the needs of beginner riders.
