Harley's Sportster has been thrilling and frustrating riders sine 1957: though models like the Forty-Eight, Iron 883, and Nightster wear a "Dark Custom"-inspired sense of style that's undeniably cool, they're also spine-crunchingly stiff and of such limited cruising range that their real world appeal is limited.
So when Harley re-thought their entry level Sportster and christened it "SuperLow," they addressed several niggling issues and ended up building what is arguably the most practical Sporty in the model's 53 year history.
To find out why the SuperLow earns a spot on our list of 10 Great Beginner Bikes, read this 2011 Harley-Davidson SuperLow Review, and check out this Photo Gallery for shots of this new-for-2011 bike.
