Most Expensive Motorcycles in the World

Got a few gazillion bucks burning a hole in your biker wallet, or just wanna dream?

If you were made of silly money, you'd forget off-the-shelf superbikes and scoff at run-of-the-mill cruisers, opting instead for wild options that constitute this list of the world's priciest production motorcycles.

The list includes everything from a carbon and kevlar-tanked, supercharged naked bike to a ride that incorporates a particularly effective use of a helicopter turbine engine... so without further ado, here's our list of The 10 Most Expensive Motorcycles in the World.

I first saw the MV Augusta F4CC at a bike show here in Australia a few years ago. I had two of my kids with me and one of them knocked over one of the posts that was holding the velvet rope around the bike. Thankfully the post only hit the tyre and not the body-work……once I saw the MV guy walking furiously towards us we ran.

The next year the bike was on a display that was raised above the ground and no one could get near it.

A friend down the street has an F4CC and it is a beautiful motorcycle. Worth $100K? Well, I guess that just all depends. He has a regular MV F4 as well and from a distance, you don’t notice a lot of differences other than the color, but when you get up close…wow The regular F4 is of course hand built but up close you see the little details on the CC like the MV logo in the radiator guard and scattered around the motorcycle, more carbon fiber everywhere, and lots of other little items. I forget which # he got out of the 100. He asked if #46 was available but was told that #46 was reserved for a certain Italian motorcycle racer, should he ever want it. I don’t know if that’s really true or not.

We’re supposed to go on a ride in the morning too, so maybe he’ll bring the CC, or the standard F4 or the Ducati Desmosedici RR, or the…well, you get the idea. Either way, I’ll be on my little SV650S and only have to fill up with gas every other time he does! LOL

Breathtaking bikes, but even the Confederate is in the “we’re getting a divorce” realm.
