What are your feelings about the season so far?
In the beginning we struggled so much; we were always three, four tenths slower than the Hondas. Then, from Silverstone or Assen, the bike has improved a lot with pieces from last year, then at this moment we’re much more competitive and we’re gaining these three or four tenths we didn’t have in the first races.
What’s your plan for the US GP at Laguna Seca?
I will try to fight for the win, because it’s the only way to recover some points to Casey. Otherwise, it will be difficult.
It seems like you’re having a great day of practice so far. What’s your feeling on the track?
The bike is working quite good. We have been quite fast compared to normally, very soon we were in the first position, especially this afternoon. But the track is worse than last year. All the riders are going slower than last year.
Why do you think that is?
I don’t know, because the weather is more or less the same. Maybe the track is more bumpy, I don’t know.
