2012 Honda CBR1000RR Tech Dive

For 2012, Honda decided to focus on improving the chassis and suspension of their flagship CBR1000RR, mentioning that not much has changed priority-wise since the "light makes right" emphasis of their first big displacement street-going sportbike, the 1992 CBR900RR. Honda also says that while "big-time horsepower always holds its attractions... it's the ultra-responsive middleweight-style handling that truly allows this large-displacement sportbike to shine."

The 2012 Honda CBR1000RR starts at $13,800 (a $401 bump compared to the outgoing model, and the ABS version is available for $14,399. Let's take a closer look at how Honda hopes their newest supersports bike will vanquish the competition.
