Every year, electric motorcycles are seeing incremental gains in performance and range, and 2012 offers more promise for Zero, the Santa Cruz, California-based manufacturer of battery-powered bikes.
The lineup features a new Z-Force battery pack with up to 95 percent more energy density. The batteries are rated to 3,000 complete charge cycles before reaching 80 percent capacity-- which means up to 308,000 miles from a battery pack before the bike goes kaput.
