Buell's successful Ulysses platform has attracted plenty of fans, but the bikes have also developed a reputation for being too tall for many riders. The new-for-2008 Buell Ulysses XB12XT is intended to offer on-road performance touring with a lower 30.7 inch seat height that should accommodate a wider selection of riders.

• Shorter suspension travel
• Three detachable hard cases-- one top case and two side cases
• A 1,203cc V-Twin engine that produces 103 horsepower and 84 ft-lbs of torque
• Fully adjustable front and rear suspension
• Mass centralized underslung exhaust, fuel-in-frame tank, and oil-in-swingarm construction.
