Ducati's Duck-Billed Motard Gets Premium Components

Ducati's Hypermotard 1100S (priced at $14,495 for the 2009 model) adds premium components including:

• Öhlins suspension
• Carbon fiber trim along the fork protectors, timing belt covers, front fender rear section and tail side covers
• Lighweight Marchesini wheels with Pirelli Diablo Corsa tires and Brembo monobloc brakes
• A Ducati Data Analyzer (DDA) which allows performance and diagnostic information to be downloaded into a PC
• Folding side mirrors

The Hypermotard is powered by an air-cooled L-Twin cylinder, 2 valve per cylinder Desmodromic engine that produces 90 horsepower and 76 ft-lbs of torque.
