The 2009 Ducati Monster 1100 has been redesigned and inherits componentry from the Hypermotard, including its engine.
Features include:
- An air-cooled, 1100cc desmodromic L-twin producing 95 horsepower @ 7,500 rpm
- A single-sided aluminum swingarm
- An 'S' model offers Öhlins suspension, carbon fiber belt covers, silencer guards, and front fenders.
- A weight of only 373 lbs (370 lbs for the 'S' model)
- A price of $11,995 for the 1100, and $13,995 for the 1100 S version
