The 2011 Ducati Monster 796 bridges the gap between the smaller-engined Monster 696 and the big-bore Monster 1100.
The new middleweight naked bike will be priced at $9,995, and feature:
- An air-cooled engine that produces 87 horsepower and 56 lb-ft of torque
- A new seat that's engineered for more comfort, higher handlebars and optional passenger grab rails
- A single-sided swingarm and four-piston Brembo brakes (as seen on the Monster 1100)
- An APTC slipper clutch and new five-spoke wheels
- A 367 pound dry weight
