Oklahoma City-based Darwin Motorcycles seeks to fill the lower end of the custom motorcycle market with their Brass Balls Bobbers line. Available with a Harley-Davidson EVO, S&S Shovelhead, or Indian Power Plus motor, these bobbers start at $16,995.
Darwin's relatively low production volume motorcycles are intended to provide made-to-order bikes at a fraction of the cost of some of the bigger name custom bike builders, but go for their 93 cubic-inch V-twin and pile on the options using their online bike building tool, and it becomes easy to spend in the neighborhood of $25,000 on a bobber.
The bikes look sharp and stylish on their website, but the true test of any custom motorcycle can only come from close, in-person inspection, so we'll have to test a Brass Balls Bobber before we jump to any conclusions about their value.
