MV Agusta's Managing Director Claudio Castiglioni once dreamed of building the ultimate racing superbike, so he commissioned his team to pluck the best components available and build around the F4. That one-off bike inspired the F4CC, which gained its name from Mr. Castiglioni's initials.
Among the mechanical changes are a reworked engine that has been bumped to a 1,078cc displacement and boasts variable length intakes, radially arranged titanium valves, and lightweight components that shave weight by 8.8 pounds.
Other key features include:
- 90% handmade one-off pieces, including brake levers, foot controls and steering damper, among others.
- Multi-adjustable Sachs rear suspension
- Design details including titanium mesh grilles at the engine intake points
- Extensive use of carbon fiber, including the fairing and bodywork.
- Brembo Racing monobloc brakes
100 copies of the $120,000 MV Agusta F4CC will be built.
