Buell's successful Ulysses platform has attracted plenty of fans, but the bikes have also developed a reputation for being too tall for many riders. The new-for-2008 Buell Ulysses XB12XT is intended to offer on-road performance touring with a lower 30.7 inch seat height that should accommodate a wider selection of riders.
Standard features include:
- Heated handgrips
- Integrated handlebar deflectors
- A detachable, tall windscreen
- Two 12 volt power outlets
- Shorter suspension travel
- Three detachable hard cases-- one top case and two side cases
- A 1,203cc V-Twin engine that produces 103 horsepower and 84 ft-lbs of torque
- Fully adjustable front and rear suspension
- Mass centralized underslung exhaust, fuel-in-frame tank, and oil-in-swingarm construction.
The 2008 Buell XB12XT is priced at $12,995.
